Admission requirements

We accept new students each semester (autumn and spring). Familiarity with art history and experience in drawing and/or painting is an advantage, but not a requirement. All knowledge necessary to study here, you will get here. No matter your level of experience, we make an effort to facilitate your entrance into the art discipline through guidance and supervision adjusted to you and your goals. As a small, independent art school, we have the freedom to establish a personal dialogue between students and teachers: at the beginning of the course we plan your study with your goals and resources in mind, taking into consideration the intention of the Academy for its students and whether you want to study full or part time. Having established this starting point, your process will be evaluated regularly by you and your teacher.

We are also able to assist you with counseling or academic knowledge to fulfill the admission requirements of other art or creative schools, such as Oslo School of Architecture and Design and Oslo National Academy of the Arts.

You are welcome to contact us for questions on studies and admission.

Admission process

1: Fill out and send in the application form by e-mail or post. (Link to application form is coming, in the meantime use the contact form or send us an e-mail. Please call us if you have questions.)

2: We will contact you and schedule an information conversation by phone or at our facilities.

3: We send you a study contract for you to fill out and return in 2 copies, alternatively we fill out and sign the contract at our facilities.

4: We schedule potential practical details about the course start and welcome you as a student to an introductory study planning conversation.
